She won several regional championships before shifting her focus to rallycross in 2018. Andersson claimed the runner-up position in the Swedish Junior Rallycross Championship in 2020, then stepped up to the senior class and won the overall title the next year driving a BMW 120. She made her debut in the FIA RX2e Championship at Spa-Francorchamps.
Despite being a rookie in the single-make series, the Sweden Junior National Team member finished an impressive fourth in her first race, narrowly missing the podium by just a second after a thrilling Q2 battle with champion-elect Guillaume De Ridder. She returned for the season finale before stepping up to the World Championship in 2022, becoming the first permanent female competitor in World RX history with the Construction Equipment Dealer Team.
In her debut in Hell, Andersson advanced to the final and outperformed her experienced, race-winning teammate Niclas Grönholm. She made history again by reaching the podium at Montalegre and nearly beating multiple world champion Johan Kristoffersson at the Nürburgring. Her strong performance secured her a spot on the team for a second consecutive season at the highest level in 2023.
In 2023, she also secured silver in the team world championship, and became the first woman to win a qualifying round overall in Hong Kong.
Now awaits the FIA World Rallycross Championship (World RX) and Andersson along with Niclas Grönholm stand ready.
