"The first test was more of a roll-out to ensure that everything works as it should, including cars, drivers and all the team members. During this test in Ljungbyhed and Knutstorp we can really start the hunt for laptimes." says Marcus Ekström, Team Principal CUPRA Sweden-PWR. Driver Robert Dahlgren continues, ”the performance of our cars during the test has been really good. I am confident that we have the tools we need to compete at the highest level.”
Furthermore, as the STCC season approaches, the drivers of CUPRA Sweden-PWR emerge as embodiments of determination, ready to tackle the challenges ahead. Leading the charge are Robert Dahlgren, Axel Bengtsson, and Anton Marklund, each bringing their unique skills and expertise to the team. Axel Bengtsson, known for his precision and adaptability on the track, remarks, "The handling and responsiveness of the electric vehicles exceeded my expectations. It's an exciting time to be part of this innovative venture." Anton Marklund, renowned for his strategic approach and technical finesse, adds, ”the acceleration and power delivery of the electric vehicles are phenomenal. I can't wait to unleash them on the race track."

8-9 JUNE, GOTHENBURG Head 2 Head, Race 1-2 The Gothenburg STCC Head 2 Head promises adrenaline-fueled action right in the heart of Gothenburg, at the event area between Ullevi and Scandinavium. Featuring the explosive Head 2 Head format, this event sees two drivers go head-to-head over a distance of 615 meters.
28-29 JUNE, LJUNGBYHEDS MOTOR TRACK Airport Race, Race 3-4 Ljungbyheds Motor Track, situated on a former military airfield, welcomes the STCC for an exciting race weekend. With its combination of long straights and tight corners, this track in Skåne, just four miles from Helsingborg, is sure to deliver thrilling racing action.

13 - 14 SEPTEMBER, RING KNUTSTORP NewsRaceT, Race 6-7 Ring Knutstorp, nestled outside Kågeröd in Skåne, offers a challenging circuit featuring hilly terrain and a mix of fast and slow corners. As one of southern Sweden's major tourist destinations, this track promises a picturesque backdrop for the STCC action.
20 - 21 SEPTEMBER, MANTORP PARK Grande Finale, Race 8-9 Mantorp Park, a classic racing track inaugurated in 1969, hosts the STCC Grande Finale. With its blend of fast corners, slow chicanes, and a long straight, this circuit along the E4 highway between Linköping and Mjölby provides the perfect setting for the season's thrilling conclusion.

What is CUPRA Sweden-PWR?
PWR Racing, debuting under the name CUPRA Sweden-PWR in STCC 2023, was founded in 2012 by Daniel Haglöf and Peter "Poker" Wallenberg with the aim of breaking existing norms in circuit racing and advancing the sport. The team is part of the PWR Group and is based in Vikmanshyttan. PWR Racing are the reigning STCC champions for drivers, teams, and juniors. PWR Racing represents CUPRA in STCC and has won a total of nine titles in the championship.
What is STCC?
STCC is Scandinavia's leading racing championship, founded in 1996. The championship competes with heavily modified production cars in an explosive, short, and adrenaline-filled racing format on the best racing circuits in Sweden. Starting in 2024, the championship is electrified with brand-new race cars with nearly 550 horsepower, the most powerful cars in STCC history. STCC is broadcast live via the streaming platform STCC+.
