This weekend at Ring Knutstorp, the CUPRA Sweden-PWR team faced more challenges than anticipated. Unforeseen obstacles hindered our performance, and despite our drivers giving their all, we fell short of securing top positions. However, we’re not letting this setback get us down. We’re already setting our sights on a strong comeback at Mantorp Park next weekend. With the final race of the STCC season on the horizon, our focus is on finishing the season stronger than we started.

CUPRA Sweden-PWR Team Faces Challenges at Ring Knutstorp but Looks Ahead to Mantorp Park

September 14, 2024

The Ring Knutstorp circuit, with its notoriously challenging terrain, certainly pushed the CUPRA Sweden-PWR team to their limits. Despite a determined effort, the team faced ongoing struggles with cracking the code on their cars' performance. A combination of tough competition and technical issues kept us from securing consistent results. While the weekend didn’t go as planned, the drivers pushed through with determination, showing resilience in the face of adversity. Every lap was a lesson learned, and those lessons will power the team as they prepare for the final race of the season.

"We knew Ring Knutstorp would be a challenge, as we have been struggling with the cars and have not performed this season as we had hoped. While we didn’t achieve the results we wanted, we’re focusing on the positives. The season isn’t over yet, and we’ll be ready to fight in Mantorp". - Marcus Ekström, Team Principal CUPRA Sweden-PWR
