EPWR, a part of PWR Group, has successfully delivered all racing cars for the 2024 STCC (Scandinavian Touring Car Championship) Season. This marks a significant milestone for the EPWR team as we help electric racing teams gear up for an exciting season ahead.

EPWR officially delivers all racing cars for the 2024 STCC Season!

April 25, 2024

The delivery process has been meticulously planned and executed to ensure that each car meets the highest standards of performance and safety. With the valuable inputs from SKF automotive, our engineers and technicians have worked tirelessly to fine-tune every aspect of the vehicles, from engine performance to aerodynamics, providing our drivers with the competitive edge they need on the track.

The 2024 STCC lineup will feature twelve EPWR-developed cars, built on chassis from CUPRA Born, BMW i4, Tesla Model 3, and Volkswagen ID.3, offering a diverse and competitive field of electric race cars. Crafted by EPWR, where SKF has been an important partner, each 100% electric race car boasts 550hp, rear-wheel drive, and a complete absence of electronic driver aids, emphasizing a focus on spectacular and sustainable motorsport.

“We are delighted to take delivery of 12 brand new race cars to our headquarters in Ljungbyhed ahead of our groundbreaking 2024 season. This is together with EPWR our biggest step forward yet and a long awaited one after the delays we faced last year. This also marks the start for the next big step in the form of final function tests before the cars are delivered onto the teams, we've definitely got some exciting times ahead!" said Micke Bern, STCC CEO.

On April 25th, excitement therefore fills the air as the twelve EPWR race cars are set to be picked up from Vikmanshyttan, in Dalarna, Sweden, marking the next stage in their journey towards the racing circuit. Nestled among the picturesque forests of Dalarna, Vikmanshyttan serves as the hub for EPWR, where each car undergoes transformation from recycled street vehicles to high-performance racing machines.

“I would like to extend my gratitude to everyone involved in this process, from our engineering and mechanic team to our partners, such as SKF and STCC, who have supported us every step of the way. Their dedication and hard work has been instrumental in making this delivery possible.” says Micke Jansson, CEO of PWR Group.

As we embark on the 2024 STCC Season, let us carry forward the spirit of teamwork, determination, and excellence that defines EPWR and electric racing. A special mention is due to Skellefteå Kraft (SK), who have been with us from the very beginning, even before the concept existed—a unique partnership built from scratch.
