The Last Race Weekend of the STCC 2024 Season
This season has been an exciting journey, with EPWR’s pioneering concept taking center stage. As a key player in this innovative electric racing series, EPWR has transformed the landscape of Swedish motorsport, providing a concept that STCC (Scandinavian Touring Car Championship) has licensed and embraced for a more sustainable future.
Today, our partners—and other existing stakeholders and companies —will be joining us in our CUPRA Sweden-PWR tent, where the atmosphere is electric, and the networking opportunities are abundant. But it’s not just about racing; we’re bringing together companies and students from top technical schools to foster talent in a market where skilled tech and mechanical engineers are in high demand.
Motorsport is more than just a sport; it's a tool for inspiring the next generation of engineers and innovators. We’re proud to create a platform where businesses can meet the future talent that will help drive innovation forward.
Motorsport as a Platform: Cultivating Tomorrow's Tech and Mechanical Engineering Talent
We’d like to extend a big thank you to our partners and participating companies who make this journey possible. Atlas Copco, Skellefteå Kraft, Scania, CUPRA, Werksta, and Höganäs are not only supporting our racing efforts but are also actively engaging in networking at our tent. Engströms Bil, a CUPRA dealer, will also be joining us.
With over 130 students invited, this event offers a unique opportunity for companies to connect with the next generation of talent. All partners and participating companies will meet with students from various technical schools, helping to inspire future engineers, mechanics, and technicians.
Motorsport serves as an exceptional platform, not only for testing innovation, but also for uncovering talent in industries facing a shortage of technical skills. As tech and mechanical engineering roles become increasingly difficult to fill, the dynamic world of racing truly provides companies with a unique environment to discover, nurture and engage new talent.
It’s safe to say we’re aiming to make this race day and weekend unforgettable – both on and off the track!
